Partner Artists Terms and Conditions
By registering as a Partner Artist (referred to as “Partner Artist”, “you”, or “your”) on the Light Up Platform (the “Platform”), you are agreeing to be bound by these Partner Artists Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) in a legally binding agreement between Light Up (referred to as “Light Up”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and you. These Terms supplement the general Terms and Conditions for Users on the Platform. Please read these Terms carefully before registering or providing services. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not register or continue as a Partner Artist.
We reserve the right to update and change these Terms by posting updates on the Platform. You are advised to check the Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. If amendments are unacceptable, cease providing services and notify us to deactivate your account.

Additional Terms
Upon completing a Transaction, you are entering into a legally binding and enforceable agreement to purchase the product and/or service. After this point, the User may request cancellation only as per the return, refund, and cancellation policy displayed on our Platform/website at the time of purchase. We maintain a fair return, cancellation, and refund policy in line with our business and applicable laws, including RBI Payment Aggregator Guidelines.
We shall retain sole discretion in approving any cancellation, return, or refund requests and may require additional details, proof (such as order details, images, or delivery evidence), or justification before approval.
Once you have received the product and/or service, requests for replacement, return, or refund will generally be considered only if the product and/or service does not conform to the description, specifications, or quality as mentioned on the Platform (e.g., damaged, defective, or materially different). All such requests must be submitted directly to us.
Any refund request must be raised within the timeline specified in our return/refund policy on the Platform (which shall comply with applicable laws and will be no less than required minimums). To submit a claim, contact us via the support channel/ticket system mentioned on our Platform or email us at [your support email, e.g., support@yourbusiness.com], providing a clear and specific reason for the request, including the violated terms (e.g., mismatch with description), order details, and any supporting proof (photos, etc.).
Whether a refund, return, or replacement will be provided will be determined by us at our sole discretion. We may ask for additional information before approving any requests. Upon approval, refunds will be processed to the original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 5-7 working days (or as per the payment mode's timelines; instant options may apply in some cases). Razorpay transaction fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
For full details, please refer to our return, refund, and cancellation policy displayed on the Platform. We recommend reviewing it before completing any purchase.
Here is a clear, professional Terms & Conditions clause (or section) you can incorporate into your platform's overall Terms of Service, User Agreement, or Artist/Client-specific terms. This directly addresses your key points: providing leads/matches, platform efforts for conversion, no guarantee of business/booking, standardized pricing (no negotiation), strict in-platform communication, and algorithm-based matchmaking.
I've drafted it in formal, neutral legal-style language commonly used in marketplace platforms (inspired by similar lead-gen and booking marketplaces). You should have a lawyer review/adapt it for your jurisdiction (e.g., India, since you're in Delhi).
Lead Matching and Booking Disclaimer
1. Nature of Our Services – Lead Matching Only Our platform operates as a matchmaking marketplace that connects Clients (event organizers / hirers) with Live Artists using proprietary algorithms based on factors such as availability, genre, location, ratings, past performance data, and other relevant criteria.
We provide:
- Algorithm-generated matches and leads (potential booking opportunities) to Clients and Artists.
- Standardized, transparent pricing displayed on the platform (no custom quotes or negotiations are permitted or facilitated).
- Tools and features to facilitate communication, inquiries, shortlisting, and booking confirmation — all of which must occur exclusively through the platform's messaging and booking system.
2. No Guarantee of Booking, Conversion, or Business Outcome While we make reasonable efforts to:
- deliver high-quality, relevant matches,
- provide accurate profile information, and
- enable smooth communication and transaction processes,
we do not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to:
- That any lead/match will result in a booking or hire.
- That any Artist will be selected or perform for any Client.
- Any minimum number of leads, inquiries, shortlists, bookings, or revenue for Artists.
- Any minimum number of bookings, successful events, or return on investment for Clients.
All matches and leads are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Conversion to a confirmed booking depends entirely on the mutual agreement, communication, and decisions of the Client and Artist. We are not responsible for:
- The willingness or ability of a Client to proceed with a booking.
- An Artist's availability, performance quality, reliability, or fulfillment of any booking.
- Any failure by either party to respond, negotiate terms outside the platform's standardized pricing, or complete the transaction.
3. Standardized Pricing – No Negotiation All pricing for live artist performances is fixed and standardized on the platform based on category, duration, location, and other predefined parameters. Clients and Artists agree not to negotiate, request, or offer alternative pricing, discounts, or side payments outside the platform. Any attempt to do so may result in suspension or termination of accounts.
4. Communication Strictly On-Platform All discussions, inquiries, negotiations (limited to non-price matters such as event details, setlist, timing, etc.), sharing of additional requirements, and final booking confirmations must take place exclusively through the platform's built-in messaging and booking tools.
- Off-platform communication (phone, email, WhatsApp, social media, etc.) is strictly prohibited before a booking is confirmed.
- Violation of this rule may result in account suspension, removal of leads/matches, or permanent ban, at our sole discretion.
5. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Light up shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Any failure to secure a booking or generate revenue.
- The acts, omissions, performance, or non-performance of any Artist or Client.
- Any dissatisfaction with a match, lead quality, or event outcome.
By using the platform, both Clients and Artists acknowledge and agree that they engage in matches/bookings at their own risk and responsibility.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and registering as a Partner with Light Up, you expressly consent and authorize Light Up and its authorized representatives to send you One-Time Passwords (OTPs), transactional messages, service-related notifications, promotional offers, updates, alerts, and any other communication related to your partnership account via WhatsApp (including text messages, images, audio, or video) on the mobile number provided by you during registration or subsequently updated in your account.
